This is a somewhat primitive book. It's more of a compendium of waterfall photographs, sketches, and reproductions of postcards and stamps than anything else. Don't let this suggest that the book isn't good. While it has some drawbacks, the cheap newsprint stock and the complete lack of any text except captions, it does offer a lot of waterfall imagery. There are 823 images representing 122 states, provinces, or countries. No text, massive volume of photos.
The Bottom Line: This is a hard book to track down. It is of no use to a hiker or photographer. If you're like us and you maintain waterfall checklists (much like some of us collected baseball cards in our youth), this book is pretty cool indeed.
