This guidebook is smaller than most, but this is offset by the glossy paper and the numerous color images within the book. The suggested price of $7.95 is very reasonable for a book of this quality.
The detriments of this book lie in the fairly narrow scope of the content. This guidebook details the better known waterfalls in Great Smoky Mountains National Park, but there are numerous omissions. To be fair, the omissions are difficult to access due to either difficult terrain, relative obscurity or a location well off the beaten track.
Aside from some photographs not being tightly in focus, most are fairly well composed and executed shots of the waterfalls in the National Park.
The Bottom Line: All things considered, it's a good book to have, particularly if you're planning to visit the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
