Mark Morrison is a former surveyor whose meticulous attributes translate directly into the book. The maps are concise and accurate. There is a section of color plates which are quite striking in quality. His section of photographic advice is simple, straightforward, and very accurate.
This isn't a large book, but covers about 75 waterfalls. It's more of a checklist than a guidebook as there are maps and directions, but not a lot of descriptive narrative. I don't have a problem with that.
The Bottom Line: If you plan to explore the area, this is a limited but accurate resource.
