Emperor Falls is the uppermost of three major waterfalls along the Robson River as it cascades down the valley from Berg Lake to Kinney Lake in Mount Robson Provincial Park. The falls plunge about 150 feet, starting off as a clean leap but impacting an outward-jutting protrusion of bedrock such that nearly the entire river slams into an almost horizontal rock surface. The result is a massive jet of water exploding outwards from the cliff face in an arch that can reach distances of over 100 linear feet away from the top of the waterfall. Making the scene all the more eye catching is the massive face of Mount Robson looming directly above the falls. HISTORY AND NAMES
