CONFIRMED
This waterfall has been confirmed by the World Waterfall Database, has been mapped and its height has been approximated but exact measurements have not yet been confirmed.
Cachoeira do El Dorado is a vertical, moderately high volume waterfall located in the far northern part of Brazil's Amazonas state, just south of the border with Venezuela. The falls were only recently discovered and at the time were suspected of being the tallest in Brazil. While this is likely untrue, it is possible it may be among the tallest free-falling waterfall in the country, dropping 353 meters into a canyon incised into Monte Tantalita. Very little is known about the falls and only a handful of pictures have made their way to the internet thus far so we have rather limited information. The municipality of Barcelos has plans to construct a trail system to the falls, which are currently only accessible via aircraft or a strenuous foot expedition.

Our thoughts

Based on the very few pictures we've seen of this waterfall, it may be one of the best in Brazil and possibly among the Top 20 in all of South America, but we have no way to confirm its dimensions or stream flow at the present, so it will all have to be speculative until further information surfaces.
