This waterfall has been confirmed by the World Waterfall Database, has been mapped and its height has been approximated but exact measurements have not yet been confirmed.
Located just west of Yosemite Falls, Columbia Cascade is an ephemeral waterfall which falls about 1400 feet from a very small basin on the north side of Yosemite Valley. The falls only flow for a very short period during the early snow melt season and are usually dry by May.
Seasonal Discharge
This waterfall occurs along a stream that is known to vary greatly in volume and as a result may not flow consistently year round or may dry out completely during certain periods.
