UNCONFIRMED
This waterfall is known to exist but its stature and / or location have not yet been verified by the World Waterfall Database.
Bear Falls is one of a series of waterfalls located in the extensive Nakimu Cave system in Glacier National Park. Bear Falls is situated where its respective stream plunges into the cave system at a sinkhole. The exact location of this waterfall is not known (the coordinates listed are those provided by the Canadian Government and are thought to be approximate). Access to the Nakimu Caves is heavily restricted to a limited number of parties each year. It is not known whether Bear Falls can be accessed without entering the caves, but bushwhacking in attempt to find the falls is not recommended without specific directions due to the potentially deadly terrain in the area and large population of Grizzly Bears which live in the Cougar Creek valley.
