We're a bit unsure which of the two waterfalls, Cascata das Andorinhas or Cascata da Veu de Noiva, the links below depict, but we're fairly certain it's the former. The falls are located within a massive canyon, said to average out to 700 meters deep, which is also the only reference we've seen to a height for the falls. We believe the falls are more likely around 400 meters tall. The name of the falls translates to Cascade of the Swallows, named such because, apparently, swallows nest in the cliffs behind the falls. |
