Suggest a Waterfall
for inclusion in the database

THIS PAGE HAS BEEN TEMPORARILY DISABLED DUE TO A HIGH VOLUME OF SPAMMING RECENTLY.  CHECK BACK IN A FEW MONTHS

We're well aware that this list is my no means a comprehensive list of ALL the waterfalls in the world of note, so we're asking you for your help in filling in any blanks their may be.  If you know of a waterfall that you feel should be in the database, fill out the form below, and we'll check it out and add it if it meets the requirements.

Requirements for submission:

If the waterfall is being submitted for inclusion on the "World's Tallest List", the waterfall must:

  • Have a workable name (it can be a name you've made up); "Unnamed Falls" will not be accepted.
  • The falls must drop at least 300 feet (100 meters).
  • You must provide information about the waterfall's location, including at least the country the waterfall occurs within, and any one of the following: the stream / river's name, the state / province the falls are located in, or the township / park the falls are in.

If the waterfall is being submitted for inclusion on the "World's Largest List", the waterfall must:

  • Have a workable name (it can be a name you've made up); "Unnamed Falls" will not be accepted.
  • The falls must drop at least 20 vertical feet (6 meters).
  • The falls must have a gradient of over 300 feet per mile.
  • If the falls do not have a gradient of 300 feet per mile, but are under 1 mile in length, there must be an obvious vertical drop, and we will determine, on a case by case basis, whether each submission qualifies.
  • You must provide a valid figure for the average discharge of the waterfall (in either cubic feet or cubic meters per second).
  • The falls must exist today; the waterfall cannot have been destroyed by the construction of a dam, or it cannot be extinct due to a river shifting it's channel.

If you know of a waterfall that meets these criteria, please fill out the form below, and we'll hunt it down.
